Payload Processing Facility (PPF) • Primary bay access is through roll up doors. • Spacecraft are received in the PPF, processed, fueled, checked out, mated to the interface adapter, and encapsulated in the flight fairing. • Class 100,000 clean room, which can be operated as a Class 10,000 clean room if desired. • Clean room equipped with HVDS, CCTV, fire detectors, and breathing air. • Hypergol fuel storage bunker located proximal to PPF to facilitate fuel transfer to payload tanks. • Includes two 40 by 60 foot by 66 foot high processing bays with an equipment entry air lock bay. • PPF has 15-ton bridge crane with 50 feet of hook height. • Environmentally conditioned with controlled and monitored temperature, humidity and cleanliness. • Concrete wall and blast shutter protect the processing bay from the control room. • Pipe and conduit pass through's are provided at strategic locations for gaseous helium and gaseous nitrogen feed and electrical connectivity for remote control and monitoring. + Close window |
