Integration and Processing Facility (IPF) • The Integration and Processing Facility supports integration checkout of rocket motors and related flight components. • 50 x 100 foot environmentally controlled structure with roll up doors on each end. • Provides about 5,000 square feet of floor space. • Includes equipment entry bay. • Has 25-ton bridge crane with 40 feet of hook height. • Processed motors and payloads are transferred indoors to the Spacecraft and Assemblies Transfer Building for indoor transfer to LP1 (Orbital Launch Pad) or LP2 (Sub-orbital Launch Pad). • A Test Assemblies Inspection Records room that can be configured to support test equipment abuts the main work area. + Close window |
