Do you want to be a Rocket Scientist?
(Or maybe just say you work with one?)
In 2008, AADC is offering a limited number of internships to college students interested in gaining valuable work experience in the fields of engineering, communications, aeronautics and launch-related services.
These internships are available to students with a minimum of two years of college study. Interns will have the opportunity to work on-site at the Kodiak Launch Complex (KLC), Kodiak Island, Alaska.
Actual work assignments will vary depending upon the current launch schedule, the student’s area of study and skill level, and the type of experience desired.
AADC has placements available from June through August. The duration of the internships is flexible depending upon university requirements and the student’s schedule.
AADC maintains a launch services support contract with RISE Alaska. All internships will be run directly through a contract with this company.
To apply for a 2008 internship, forward a cover letter stating your areas of interest and resume to: Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation, 4300 B Street, Suite 101, Anchorage, Alaska, 99503, Attention: Internship Program, or send via email to: info@akaerospace.com
