Dale K. Nash
Chief Executive Officer
- Dale joined AAC as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2007 and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in February 2008.
- Mr. Nash’s background includes 28 years experience in the aerospace industry with the prior 14 years on NASA’s Space Shuttle/Human Space Flight programs and the previous 11 years on DoD ballistic missile systems and solid rocket motors.
- Dale began his aerospace career in 1982 at Hercules Aerospace Company – Bacchus Works in Magna, UT working on Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Sea Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) systems.
- He moved to Thiokol Corporation – Promontory, UT in 1987, where he was promoted to Director, Materiel for the Strategic Missile Division working on the Trident I & II, MX, SICBM and Castor 120 programs.
- Thiokol transferred Dale in 1993 to Kennedy Space Center (KSC) as the VP/GM for Thiokol’s Florida operations including processing and stacking Thiokol’s Solid Rocket Motors and Lockheed’s External Tank.
- As the Space Shuttle Program consolidated into a single operations contractor beginning in October 1995, Dale transitioned from Thiokol to United Space Alliance/Lockheed Martin.
- At United Space Alliance, Dale served in several executive leadership positions on the NASA Space Shuttle / Human Space Flight Programs, including:

- » Director Launch Operations at Kennedy Space Center
- » Director Ground Systems at Kennedy Space Center
- » Director External Tank/Solid Rocket Booster Operations
- Dale has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Utah, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
- Dale and his wife Beth live in Anchorage, AK. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. They both enjoy fishing, the outdoors, and the Alaska lifestyle.
